Knit the Classics Book Swap

My Knit-the-Classics book-swap partner, Chittavrtti , sent me a copy of My Name is Asher Lev , which I have wanted to read f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

She also sent me dark chocolate from Trader Joe's, and a card that says "Art is that which without we would cease to be what we are," and features a drawing of a cat by M.C. Escher.

Escher's works form modern mandalas, showing interconnectedness (hands drawing each other) and shimmering patterns (flying birds). They connect technical proficiency and Taoist flow.

Escher is one of my husband's favorite artists, and mine. Dark chocolate is one of our favorite foods. Thank you,
Chittavrtti! Namaste!
