Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Grey Heather, size 7 needle.
This is my first cowl. I'm in love. It's soft, warm, pretty, and soft. And warm. I see many cowls in my future.
My enabler? Penny the Penguin Girl. She's made many, many beautiful cowls. Where she leads, I shall follow.
Penny and Kata conspired to make me happy last month by sending me a box of lovelies including a new raspberry Lamy Al-star fountain pen, with turquoise cartridges, tea, and ...
... Teabird's family crest, which Kata carved for me.
And this? Oh, just because.

That girl is just genius.
Love, love the family crest. Have it inscribed on everything. EVERYTHING.
Cowls are indeed a wonderful thing! Pretty crest, pen and the bunnies are adorable...
(((hugs)))
I always wanted a family crest... but I have had to settle for mint flavored toothpaste, hahahahahahaha
Nice cowl - I've decided to make them for gifts to my nieces next Christmas. (Hopefully they will still be "in," as they are all rather fashion-involved ...)
And wow what a package! I LOVE the crest - I think we all need one, to tell you the truth.
Aren't enablers the best?
Nice list of L's! Esp. the last. :)
Just nominated you for a blog award..stop by my place to see!
(((hugs)))
I haven't made the leap to cowls, yet. I wasn't going to make a shawl either but now I have 2 and am working on number 3 and 4 & 5 are planned.....a cowl just might be in my future.
I've been obsessed with the idea of cowls for awhile - just need to find time. Yours is beautiful! As are all of the other photos.
:)

Have a great weekend & a happy Valentine's Day!
