arbitrary is the only way to get through it.

my word count (at this second) is 5370

ultimately usable word count is considerably less--probably around 2500.

lame, i know.

keep hanging in there!

one does not care about usable word count in the month of november. it's getting words out of one's head and onto paper (virtual or real). maybe some are usable maybe some aren't. we worry about that in december. at least I do anyway. i let my fingers go where they want and then i go back later, in december, january, febraury, and worry then about perfecting words, sentences, paragraphs, and stories.

You rock! I could never even think of participating in NaNoWriMo. I'm having a hard enough time posting for NaBloPoMo...never mind writing an entire novel!

Keep on writing girlie!

I'm just interested in the criteria for "usability."

Good going! In my very humble opinion, all words are ultimately useable. Just depends on what you want to use'em for.

Woohoo! Go Teabird!

My writing partner and I are doing the concept of NaNoMo, only non-fiction. I hope you'll tell us more about what you're writing.
