I hadn't heard. I Googled his name when I saw your post. I'm going to miss him. Oh, I just feel awful. Fifty-eight years old.

I was so surprised to hear of his death I pulled over to the side of the road when I heard the news on the radio while driving. I will miss him.

I'm with you. God bless him and his family.

Election night won't be the same without him ...

I know! I was so shocked when I heard this afternoon. He was so young too. I'm really going to miss his infectious love of politics.

Yes this news was very sad. And knowing him he would have been so looking forward to the results of the November election too. Who will be able to cover it like he did? No one really, what a loss to a possible history making election

I'm so distressed about it - he hadn't looked well for some weeks, and I was hoping he was just not getting enough rest.
It's so sad. I can't say he's too young, b/c that type of heart disease hits at this point in a man's life.

But it's just so sad.
(((hugs)))

I was so excited the night he declared that we now knew who the Dem. nominee would be, because of all the people who make predictions, his opinion I trusted more than anyone's. He was so thorough (I'm amazed, listening to remembrances of his life and work this weekend, of just how exhaustive his research was), that I knew he would go through every mathematical possibility (on his little dry-erase board) before he would commit himself. I just can't imagine this election without him. It's so sad, and what a weekend for it to happen.

Sigh...
