I'm not quite a sock-knitter, yet, but I did get the heel turned and the gussets picked up. I was very, very silly when it was time to turn the heel. I looked at the instructions and said, no, not possible, they want me to do what? After 2 attempts at translating the instructions into something that made sense, I decided to try that they said. Of course, they worked. Perfectly! Now I can hardly wait to do my next sock - turning the heel is so much fun!
As for Gryffindor...I just wanted to be sure the Sorting Hat hadn't made a mistake the first time -
I'm
a Gryffindor!

Not Ravenclaw? Are you sure? :)
The sock is looking good! I thought about asking how it was coming along a couple of times, but thought maybe it, well, wasn't ...
P.S. I'm Ravenclaw.
Yay for your first heel turn! You'll never look back. :-)
Isn't turning the heel like magic?
PS I came up Ravenclaw too...
Nicey nice!!
Woo Hoo! Heel turned, on to the toes. That will make one whole sock!
oh I'm feeling all nostalgic. This post sounds just like the one I wrote when I first turned a heel! Good work!!!
Another Ravenclaw checking in here:)! In this quiz, anyway...
Woo-Hoo to the heel - I DID ONE, TOO. It's a HUGE sock to be felted, and I'll post it when the second one is done, pre-felting. Weren't you and I just saying how turning a heel was nothing at all;)!!

YOU TURNED THE HEEL!!!
WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!
