Here's a meme from Donna at Quiet Life. It's called "Friday Feast," but I'll pretend it's Friday.
Appetizer
If you were a color, which color would you be, and why?
I'd be periwinkle - a serene color without being boring.
Soup
When was the last time you went to the doctor, and what was your reason for going?
Pumpkin soup, or barley & mushroom. (Neither one would trigger a migraine.)
Salad
What do you collect?
Fountain pens, books, little stuffed rabbits, stationery, character watches, yarn, books, and unusual socks.
Main Course
What were you like in high school? Name one thing you miss and one thing you don't miss about those days. (If you're still there, imagine how you'll remember it in the future.)
I was miserable in high school. Miserable. It was regimented, sports-oriented, and full of cliques I didn't want to join. The only thing I miss is going into the prop room with my friends and having tea parties while we wore the velvet costumes from "Camelot."
Dessert
Pretend you're standing in front of your home, with your back towards your home. Describe the view - what can you see? Trees? Cars? A zoo? Wal-Mart?
I see a huge pine tree, a linden tree-lined street, and my neighbor's children playing hockey.
I think I'll tag Thoughtnuggets and Kim.

:) I don't do memes (anymore) on my blog (It's a silent 2006 "Resolution"); however, I'll post my responses herein for you:
Appetizer
If you were a color, which color would you be, and why?
I'd be an earthtone or fern green, as they are organic and natural.

Chiropractor. Last night. Herniated cervical disc
Salad
What do you collect?
Interesting yarns, inspiring books, and exotic spices

What were you like in high school?
A chameleon, and a loner. I didn't fit in truly with any one particular group.
Name one thing you miss and one thing you don't miss about those days.
One thing I miss: the possibility of seeing someone do something amazingly stupid or amusing.
One thing I DO NOT miss: How amazingly cruel people can be; how amazingly unsupportive my family and faculty were; and that feeling that eventually I'd grow up, get the fuck out and make something of my life--the world was my oyster back then.

I see cherry trees and lilac bushes, the soothing tinkling of windchimes, the air heavy with the scent of pine, and a dog turd at my feet.
PS: I don't have a dog.
Thanks again for the book - I REALLY enjoyed it. Couldn't put it down, actually. :O)
Oddly enough, periwinkle is the exact color I think of in respect to you.
Stuffed rabbits? Have you seen RheLynn's site? She makes cute little stuffed bunnies.
