I can't believe I've read a book you haven't heard of!! The Shadow of the Wind was intoxicating --- give it a try someday.

Won't play this meme; will look intensely illiterate.

Kite Runner and The Lovely Bones? Have you read either of these yet?

Why not Dune? (though it does seem to be the only semi sci fi book in the meme)

Wouldn't it be fun if each person added a book to the meme :)***CV

Oh, I like chittavrtti's idea of adding a book to the list as you do the meme.

There are a few there I want to read. :)

No history? Add Maiden Voyages by Mary Morris and The World Is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman. This is an excellant list because there is a little of everything.

I keep forgetting to do this meme!

About the sari silk bag, I'd sub the sari silk with something that knits to 3.5 sts per inch. I'd pick something with some substance and texture though, not a soft yarn. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
