1. I must see the Northern Lights before I die.
2. You can't stop dreaming.
3. I wish I never had to buy clothing again. (It's not what you think. Really. I'm very, very hard to fit. I want clothing that fits to appear as if by wizardry in my closet.)
4. Pharmaceuticals have helped me change my life. (Make of that what you will.
5. I know the song San Francisco (Flowers in your hair) by heart.
6. If I weren't so afraid, I would write a memoir (for my eyes only).
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to continuing to read Mrs. Woolf and the Servants, tomorrow my plans include tea and some serious journalling at Barnes & Noble, and Sunday, I want to knit with Rav friends!

I've seen the Northern Lights twice. The first time, I was a kid at home. The second time, I was in a jet flying home from Florida! I wonder how many have seen the Northern Lights from the air?

The Northern Lights are beautiful. I hope to one day see them from terra firma. I enjoyed them on the plane from JFK to Hong Kong via Anchorage.
I agree about the clothing thing. I want comfortable shoes that fit to appear!
I was fortunate to live in the northern part of North dakota for 4+ years and got to see the Northern Lights many times......different every time and absolutely gorgeous!!!
I saw the Northern Lights back when I was at college in '74 in Rochester N.Y.
Nope, I have never seen the Northern Lights, either...yet!

I'm with you on the clothes thing. I hate to shop as it is. Add to that, buying something that may not fit quite like I would like but it fits my budget, yadda, yadda...Hate it!
the northern lights - that would be beautiful. Maybe I have a chance at seeing the southern lights, but I'm not far enough south I fear.
and I love the 'flowers in your hair' song - reminds me of my youth (thats giving my age away!)

You might enjoy 'Joanna Lumley in the Land of the Northern Lights', a beautifully filmed programme, which charts the British actress's journey to the place that has haunted her dreams since childhood. It was broadcast by the BBC towards the end of 2008 and is currently available on BBCiPlayer (no charge) here :
