I have only seen the Northern Lights once and it was a truly amazing and memorable experience. It is also impossible to describe fully and do it justice. I would love to see them again. Maybe one day... Thanks for a great picture and a lovely memory.
I LOVE the Northern Lights. When I was nine, my Grandpa called us out of bed to come up to the house. A silhouette of a witch in profile was surrounded by the Lights. He recited poetry, and it was beautiful. He died of a heart attack the next day. Many, many years later, Gram died, and there were Northern Lights that night again.
Wow that is an amazing picture! I want so badly to seem them too! You know they say you can see them in Toronto in the winter time. It is only a 13 hour train ride from New York City!

I've only seen them from a plane on my way to Asia. It was the most amazing experience and I want to be on terra firma and enjoy them one day...
