Okay, even I can’t read ALL the time, so I’m guessing that you folks might voluntarily shut the covers from time to time as well… What else do you do with your leisure to pass the time? Walk the dog? Knit? Run marathons? Construct grandfather clocks? Collect eggshells?

Leisure time? What is this... leisure time... of which you speak?

Ok, I do have leisure time. I knit. I write letters. I write in my journal. I write pieces of novels. I knit. I watch altogether too much political talk on MSNBC. I knit. And then I go on Ravelry, which introduces me to more people to write letters to, and more projects to knit, and more yarn to buy from other knitters...

I define leisure time as any time not spent at work. Any other time has the potential to be leisure. I have often let the housework slide and the laundry wait in search of some leisure. I like to spend some of it outdoors, the pine forests are a particular favorite and if I can put up a chair and knit while I'm absorbing pine scented air, so much the better. I don't like noise filled leisure. That is not refreshing to me. I likes my leisure soft and quiet.

I knit, go running, write letters. I also love to cook. I would add "buy more yarn" to the list, but I'm currently on a mandatory yarn diet until I knit through most of my stash.

You know, knitting is something I'd love to learn. There are so many beautiful kinds of yarn!

Happy BTT!

The fun thing about watching far too much political commentary is that one can also knit & read during it. Primaries! Presidential elections! This year has been fab. I was so looking forward to an Obama/Romney face off but it doesn't look as if it was meant to be.
