So what does a depressed HP fan do when her book hasn't arrived? She shops at KnitPicks and picks up two sale books - Charmed Knits (of course) and Wrapped in Comfort. She also hangs out at Ravelry and plays with fellow Summer Camp Swap pals. Right now, the group is telling a ghost story, and singing around the campfire.
Tour de France update: She's about to turn the heel. (No, actually, I'm about to turn the heel. Must... not ... dissociate...)

Stephanie just got hers. She's threatening to spoil it for me if I don't hurry up and read 5 and 6.
The mailman was really happy to be delivering HP to everyone today. I guess it's infectious!
Ours arrived about 2 hours ago by post --- Briton's at his matinee, Hannah and I are reading.
I hope Harry has arrived by now!
Tim brought our copy home from work with him - he said it was one wild day at the bookstore ...
I just got mine from Amazon today. Perhaps it will still arrive?
Oh! I shouldn't be telling you this, now that I read your post. I got my HP today. Daughter #2 picked it up at Costco for me today. I'm not going to start reading it just yet. But soon.
I also came by to give you an award. Please drop by my site and pick it up. Thanks too for the link on Selfari. I'm working up my book list today, this evening...sometime this weekend?
Oh Oh I also am waiting for my 7th HP book and my charmed knits book!
I went to see the 5th movie last night! There is some more great knitting in that movie.
Wow! They really left a lot out of the movie,
But the parts they left in were really, really good!
I want to go see it again before it leave the theatre.
I am almost done with the sixth book and I should get my 7th book any day now.
Do you want to read them together?
My Mom is even holding off reading her new book until I get mine.
P.S. Oh I forgot to tell you,
I am changing my feelings about Snape. I am not sure he is entirely all that bad, but I don't think he is entirely all that good either.
I have a theory about him formulated in my head.
Now the Malfoy's? I still say toast'em!
