** I sometimes make decisions at work by using a Magic 8-ball.
** I have just enough dyslexia to cause neurologists to snort a little as they say "A little trouble with left and right, eh?"
** Although I have less-than-zero facility with numbers and I have just enough dyslexia, etc., I was a bookkeeper for 2 years, and I am the library's statistician. The universe has a very dark sense of humor.
** I love Aimee Mann's song "Humpty Dumpty."
** My favorite fairy tales are "The Snow Queen" and "The Emperor's Nightingale."
** My favorite piece of music is "5 Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus' " (Here is a link to the opening measures. The best recording is this one.)
** I am ridiculously glad that my Chinese astrological sign is the rabbit, and my daemon is a crow.
** I don't believe in synchronicity, but I'm pretty good at spotting it.

Enjoyable reading! One of the catalogers where I worked at the law library was also dyslexic; she was her own worst critic but when she did transpose those call numbers it was so astounding.
Also, I'm a great fan of Percy Grainger -- you?
My husband is dyslexic. I actually believe that people who have dyslexia are very creative thinkers.
Nonizamboni - yes, I do love Percy Grainger, as well as British folk groups who mined similar folk music - Steeleye Span, Pentangle, Fairport Convention, etc. The melodies are so strong and evocative, no matter what the setting.
Jennifer - I think we have to be creative, if for no other reason than to make up stories to explain why we just typed a whole page backwards!

My Mom, Sister and I all have a degree of dyslexia.
My Sister really had a time of it in school and ended up dropping out when she was sixteen then went to a class for dyslexia learned how to retrain her brain and then went back to school and got the highest score on her GED test for that school! She is one of the smartest people I know!
Then she taught the rest of us what she learned.
I have just enough of the dyslexia to be annoying in math and reading unusual words that I do not have memorized.
My Sister told me how to use the clear blue sheets and that was a tremendous help.
I just love the magic 8 ball idea!
