Good Yarn Karma

Good Yarn Karma is a new site for knitters whose stashes have taken over their lives, or who "hanker" (they said it, not me!!) for something and would like to swap. I've already sent out some of the Sugar 'n' Creme that I bought last year -- not because I've stopped knitting facecloths, because we know that once you make one ballband you are going to make 100 more. No, I gave some away because no human being should have so much Sugar 'n' Creme that it probably used up 100 bales of cotton.

I really enjoyed sending out the packages. Two went to Australia, where, apparently, the stockists do not stock the stuff. One went to a woman who makes blankets and hammocks for her pet rats as well as washcloths. The idea of a little rat relaxing on a home-made hammock made my day!

Good Yarn Karma is new - I hope many yarn hoarders will head on over and make the idea work! Tell them Teabird sent you.

Very cool. Between your book posts and this one, you're an enabler! (And I mean that in the best way possible.)

Yarn hoarding is psychologically sound. I'm almost sure of it.

Cool use of your overflow though!
