Name five of your favorite books:
Natural history of the senses - Diane Ackerman
Mrs. Dalloway - Virginia Woolf
Portrait of a lady - Henry James
The white album and Slouching toward Bethlehem - Joan Didion
Jane and Prudence - Barbara Pym
What was the last book you bought?
Sleeping with cats - Marge Piercy
What was the last book your read/finished?
The life of Pi - Yann Martel
List five books that have been meaningful to you:
A tree grows in Brooklyn - Betty Smith
Writing down the bones - Natalie Goldberg
The demon-haunted world: science as a candle in the dark - Carl Sagan
Franny & Zooey - J.D. Salinger
The white witch - Elizabeth Goudge
Name five books you've been dying to read but just haven't gotten around to it?
Moby Dick - Herman Melville
Vanity Fair - William Makepeace Thackeray
Sexual Personae - Camille Paglia
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell - Susanna Clark
Eleanor Roosevelt - Blanche Wiesen Cook
p.s. - I have new Variluxes (and not the titanium, either - the idea of them made me feel like a machine getting a new part), and I treated myself to reading glasses. Note my priorities: if my everyday glasses break again, I still won't be able to drive well, but I'll be able to read, knit, and write.

Let's see, I have too many fave books to name just five. :)
Last book I bought was actually One Skein, by Leigh Radford.
Last book I finished was Life Paint and Passion, by Michele Cassou and Stewart Cubley.

Dying to read: also Moby Dick, by Herman Melville, which I've begun but not gotten around to finish.
