Project Spectrum - Grey

Cables aren't that bad after all... The first colors for Project Spectrum are blue, white, and grey. Here is the beginning of grey in the Irish Hiking Scarf. I'm using KnitPicks Merino Style, one of my favorite yarns, and I'm enjoying the knit.


I've also discovered the pleasure of audio books. Many friends (Janet!!) have been encouraging me to try them, and I've been resistant. This week, I checked out the library's audio copy of To Kill a Mockingbird (read by Sissy Spacek) and started to listen to it in the car. What a revelation - I never would have been as immersed in the story and the characters had I not heard it in her gentle, slightly-accented voice and its Southern, slow pace. (I'm a manic New Yorker - my inner reading voice does not adjust...)
