Sunday at Panera; or, teabird sighs

We had a small group yesterday - only 5 of us. We all were knitting. Then, I decided not to knit.

I had only been not-knitting for a few minutes when a lovely woman came over, started at me as I was not-knitting, and asked, "Is that a loom?"

Gidget again!

  1. I hope you looked at her with your straightest face and said, "Yes. Yes it is."

  3. I remember one time when some guy asked me a question that I thought made him just too stupid to live, I barked at him. Yep, like a dog.

He walked away quickly, and I heard him tell his companion that I must be nuts.

Not necessarily a polite thing to do, but it did amuse me ...

People can get some interesting ideas about our crafts, can't they?
