I wandered into one (it was the only grocery store by the hotel my job had booked me into) and I was scared to death I wasn't going to be able to GET. OUT. It herded you to the back of the store and then into a maze. I usually buy a shirt from the rack but didn't like the colours or his size wasn't there. I picked a shirt from the shelf. The shirt wasn't sealed in plastic. Before I could throw it in the washer I had to remove a hanging tag, a sticky tag, two big pieces of plastic, two pieces of cardboard,an enormous piece of tissue and eight pins just so this shirt would look nice on the shelf for the consumer. I recycled the plastic and cardboard. I put the pins in a my sewing basket. I don't think many people do this though. Does anyone think all this packaging totally unnecessary?BettyBoop53https://www.blogger.com/profile/04065407484149125057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8641541.post-24058018943420210422008-06-20T17:45:00.000-04:002008-06-20T17:45:00.000-04:00Bless you! :) Agree(billions)Bless you! :) Agree(billions)La Duchessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12745541233323063923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8641541.post-44746470412978629862008-06-20T15:31:00.000-04:002008-06-20T15:31:00.000-04:00I dislike the big boxes, too. Come visit me!) which has ACE as its hardware company. Things do come through carded or in plastic bags of five, but our nuts and bolts come in bulk and you pick out what you want.
